The Family Room Medieval 28 is one of our most captivating spaces: original stone ceilings soaring to 3.47 m tell centuries of history, while every modern comfort has been carefully integrated to ensure a flawless stay. Spacious and bright — 22 sqm of bedroom plus 5.22 sqm of private en-suite bathroom — this room is the ideal retreat for families of up to 4.
The fixed bed (105×200×21 cm) offers a comfortable night’s rest, while the two roll-away single beds with Water Foam mattresses (76×210 cm) ensure flexibility for families or friends. Underfloor heating keeps the room warm and welcoming in every season.
The room is located on the second floor of the main building, accessed via an internal staircase — please bear this in mind for guests with reduced mobility.

We are genuinely deep in the Val d'Orcia
Podere Spedalone sits in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, reachable from every direction only after several kilometres of unpaved road once you leave the asphalt. The tracks are perfectly manageable in a standard car, but they are country roads: dusty in summer, muddy after rain, always beautiful.
For the vast majority of our guests, this is exactly the point. No traffic, no noise, no interruptions — just vineyards, cypress trees and the outline of the Sienese hills. If you are looking for somewhere close to a town centre or easy to reach without a car, this may not be the right destination. If you are looking to truly disappear — welcome.
